Professional Affiliations

V G Kulkarni and the team at CCS have been keenly aware of how much they owe the profession that has so enriched their lives. It is this awareness that has impelled CCS to contribute in its own small way towards, among other things, helping found the India Section of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), the prestigious Houston, USA, based organization that promotes awareness of and sets standards and guidelines for combatting corrosion.

As a corporate sustaining member of NACE, CCS has had the honour to play host to the India Section activities on its premises in the early years when both office space and corpus were at a premium. During the same period, viz. 1992-1995, V G Kulkarni was nominated Founder Trustee, and Anand Kulkarni volunteered his services as Treasurer.

CCS, as well as other industry leaders tasted the fruit of their effort in December 1993, when NACE - India section held it first seminar on corrosion-related issues.

Anand Kulkarni is a 'Cathodic Protection Specialist' certified by NACE International, USA.
This certificate is the most widely acknowledged and accepted certification in the field od Cathodic Protection. Anand Kulkarni also serves on the governing board of the NACE International, India section.
