CCS procures the key elements of CP systems, notably d.c. power units and anodes from reputed vendors with whom it shares a long and mutually beneficial association. This means that CCS is assured of both, quality and timely delivery of those equipment/material while planning its projects.
CP equipment comprises soil resistivity meters, portable rectifiers, generators for carrying out current drainage surveys, pipe locators, holiday detectors, data loggers for Close Interval Potential Surveys (CIPS), Pearson Survey Meters, DCVG equipment, Pipeline Current Mappers, current interrupters, digital multimeters and reference electrodes.
These equipment are procured from reputed companies such as Tinker & Rasor, U.S.A; M.C.Miller, U.S.A.; Nilsson, U.S.A.; DCVG Ltd.; & Radiodetection Ltd.
NDT equipment comprises X-ray crawlers capable of panoramic radiography of pipelines with diameters ranging between 6" and 60". This extensive crawler range is complemented by external x-ray machines and gamma ray. Techops cameras to handle external radiography for a wide range of pipeline diameters and wall thickness. Radiography equipment is sourced from reputed manufacturers such as JME Ltd., U.K. etc.
Ultrasonic equipment consists of flaw detectors manufactures by Krautkramer, Germany. The equipment for magnetic particle testing is sourced from Magnaflux, U.S.A. Additionally, film-processing equipment, survey meters and densitometers required for NDT jobs are also available.
All NDT and CP equipment as also NDT consumables and CP materials are procured from agencies included in CCS's approved vendor list.
